Underground Drilling Rig RTD (Ruda Truck Drilling)

The RTD drilling rig is provided for drilling blasting holes in underground mines within low-profile or medium height galleries. 

It is designed to drill parallel holes in faces of 30 sq.m cross-section (approx. 6m wide and approx. 5 m high). The drilling operation is performed by means of the hydraulic, rotary-percussive drifter provided with either water or water-air mist flushing.

The working system is driven by either electric motor or diesel engine. The unit is equipped with a water tank enabling the drilling operation independently from the mine water system. 

The operator’s cabin (with 2 seats capacity) is protected with an anti-break windshield providing excellent visibility and meets the 60kJ FOPS standard.

Despite its size and weight (12m length and 20 tons), the machine moves very easy in underground mine corridors.
